Abstract :
We demonstrate a rectangular optical filter based on stimulated Brillouin scattering with bandwidth from 50 MHz to 4 GHz. The passband ripple is ~1 dB by nonlinearity management of the pump lines and using fibre with a single Brillouin peak.
