Abstract :
A bandpass filter based on low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) multilayered technology with high-order harmonic suppression is presented. By using multilayer coupled stripline resonator structure, utilizing several methods such as increasing loaded capacitance, introducing defected ground structure (DGS), series resonator to ground and tuning Z shape coupling stub, the high-order harmonics was suppressed very well. After simulation by ADS and modeling in HFSS, the filter was fabricated. The measurement shows a good agreement with simulation. The final size of the fabricated filter is only 3.2 mm × 1.6 mm × 1.2 mm.
