Abstract :
This research work is part of mobile communications; particularly, it deals with geographic localization. This research-field is nowadays becoming the center of interest of the scientific community. Actually, a great interest is given to the location theme; it has become the most interesting subject of all discussions. The precision, as a performance criterion, has to be improved. Data fusion is a new approach that should intervene in order to better locate our customers and to procure the best results. Thus, we are trying, through this paper, to expose Information Fusion process. In fact, Information Fusion approach is nowadays estimated as a great solution held for accuracy and precision problems applications. It is a new technology which could be integrated in many scientific fields and could moreover offer many successful results. We will also, as a second step, deal with the importance of Information Fusion in geographic applications. The theories and the strategies of this new technology were tested for an application of current interest. It is a question of localizing mobile sources in a network of Radio communications posting a not still character. That´s why; a particular attention will be paid for this point.
