Abstract :
Wavelength tunable function allows the laser to be used for optical switching, network protection, equipment testing and wavelength routing. In this paper, we present two linear-cavity fiber lasers design using different components and pumping schemes. For performance evaluation comparison, Both of them can achieve 0.1 nm tuning resolution up to 14-22 nm tuning range. More than 50 dB of side mode suppression ratio (SMSR) are obtained.
