Abstract
This paper describes the conception and implementation of CORBA/Java environment in mobile IP-based communication networks. First the communication network, its architecture and specificity, is described. Second, the reasons for using CORBA/Java are explained. Then an example of implementation is provided. Security issues are also reported. Finally, some conclusions about using CORBA/Java environment in mobile IP-based networks are made
