Abstract :
Peer-to-peer technology has been widely used in Internet information sharing systems, such as Gnutella, eMule. A reasonable dynamic P2P simulation model is very significant towards understanding P2P, especially the emergence characteristic. A model for simulation the dynamics of P2P network from a point of view of complex network is present in the paper. The model recursively adopts a new node or skips out an old node with different probability. In the scale increasing process, the localization of the P2P is achieved by definition of range selection for new nodes. As a result, the characteristics of locally discrete dynamic attraction can be simulated. Experiments show that the power law exponent of normal node degree distribution is approximated to -2.3, which is in accordance with Gnutella and the theoretical value.
