Abstract :
An enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is defined as a unified information system, performing all information-processing tasks of a company and realizing an integration of the whole corporation. Thanks to the standardization of enterprise resource planning and production control processes, there is a possibility of building standard software products, suitable for a wide range of corporations presented in H. Jozsef (1999). These systems execute the same tasks, but have differences as well. In this paper these complex software products are analyzed. A simplified object-oriented model is built, which covers the common fields of these systems, and then the most important processes are presented using this set of objects. This basic model is intended to be a starting point for later examination and analysis
