Abstract
The sensor selection LQ problem is an unsolved control problem, and has been discussed in cases with/without using observer. From these results, in this paper, we consider the numerical investigation about this problem for seeking the numerical general solution. In the LQ problem with sensor selection, there are two cases: one is the case with the outstanding effect for sensor selection, another is the case with non effective sensor selection. In the algorithm of the solution there is the value being calculated backward to decide the solution, which is called the return matrix. Taking notice of this matrix, we consider the relation between the effect for sensor selection and the property of the return matrix
