Abstract
Combined heat and power (CHP) system has great prospect for sustainable development and application values with the characteristics of energy saving, environmental protection and economic benefit. This paper deals with the problem of economic optimal operation of CHP system consisting of wind turbine, PV, fuel cell, waste heat boiler, gas boiler, battery, thermal and electric load. Chance constrained programming (CCP) is utilized to consider the random feature wind power, PV power, thermal and electric load. To solve this model, an algorithm of particle swarm optimization (PSO) based on stochastic simulation is proposed. The operation schedules of CHP system are optimized with different deployments of DERs (distributed energy resources). Simulation results show that the proposed method can give suggestions on optimal deployments of DERs and realize dynamic economic dispatch of microgrid to reduce the running cost effectively.
