  • Abstract
    This study aims at automation and quantification of geological survey. In this paper, it is shown that (11,12,13) color space is suitable for describing degrees of weathering. And, feature parameters of color vectors in this color space and texture parameters are calculated for classification of rocks. As a result of using these parameters, types of rocks and degrees of weathering can be classified using the support vector machine and the neural network
