Abstract :
The composites formed by different polyethylenes and carbon black exhibit a strong PTC effect. Both the PTC intensity and the temperature switching characteristic of HDPE/CB composite is the best, while the LDPE/CB composite shows a better thermal stability. The aggregate structure of the polyethylene has a great influence on the PTC intensity, temperature switching characteristic and thermal stability of the composite
