Abstract
Summary form only given. A very large amount of money was spent on the controlled thermonuclear fusion in quasi-neutral plasmas. Unfortunately no real positive and remarkable results have been achieved in this way. These unsuccessful or partly successful attempts call for essentially new approaches. This presentation gives an unusual arrangement for the establishment of a controlled thermonuclear reactor using non-neutral plasma, and discusses some possible applications.
