Abstract :
This paper introduces a guaranteed cost control method for nonlinear discrete systems which can be represented by Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models. The analysis is based on the use of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) stability theory. A linear quadratic cost function is considered as a performance index of the closed-loop nonlinear system. Delay-dependent stabilization criteria are proposed to guarantee stability for the fuzzy neutral systems. The linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) approach is used to design the feedback control. A numerical example is given to illustrate the use of our main results.
