Abstract :
This paper presents a novel wireless power transmission system consisting of tightly coupled microstrip line resonators. Half wavelength strip line resonators are arrayed on the substrate and are electromagnetically coupled by the parasitic resonator place above the bottom resonators. This overlay resonators are used as microwave transmission system. The power transmission from this one-dimensional waveguide to the load is given by providing another microstrip resonator just above it. The tight couplings between the waveguide to the load resonator give strong power transmission and achieve high efficient system. The 1-D waveguide geometry is easy to apply curved lines, which provides contact-less power transmission railroad. A rectenna is embedded to the load resonator and the model vehicular running is demonstrated. In addition to this demonstration, unused power recollecting systems are also discussed to achieve high efficient system.
