Abstract :
The polymer blend is one of the most promising and significant technologies to produce a new material with some excellent physical properties. There are many reports that the technique of polymer blend is a useful method to obtain a new insulating material. Until now, several papers have been published on the properties of blended polymer such as the influence of blend on their rheology, morphology and so on. Many papers have also treated the effects of polymer blend on electrical properties. We selected two kinds of LDPE whose densities are 0.9184g/cm 3 and 0.9228g/cm3 and the influence of density-difference on the electrical properties of blended LDPE was studied. By comparing the results of this work with that of previous work, we also investigated the influence of density-difference on blending of LDPEs
