Abstract
A key component in reducing the cost of emerging fuel cell distributed generators is realizing economies of scale. This paper examines the historical challenges, considerations, and benefits realized from scaling up fuel cell power inverters from 250kW to 2800kW. Future trends and limiting factors are also presented.
