Abstract :
An in-band OSNR estimator exploiting the cyclostationarity of Nyquist WDM superchannels, prior to dynamic equalization in a digital coherent receiver, is demonstrated with an estimation accuracy ≤1.5dB for roll-offs higher than 0.21 for DP-16QAM and 0.15 for DP-QPSK.
