  • Abstract
    In this paper, direct synthesis technique for a new class of lossy bandstop coupled resonator filters is presented for the first time. It has been verified for various bandstop filters including symmetrical, asymmetrical, and different loss level functions. The results of synthesis show the effectivity of the direct synthesis technique.
