  • Abstract
A new conduction model that takes into account dipole interactions is presented from a modification of the two-wells Debye model. The proposed model provides easy analytical expressions for the dependencies of the experimental Curie-von-Schweidler parameters on both microscopic and macroscopic variables of the LDPE plane-plane samples under test. From the evolution of these variables with water tree degradation width, g, and polarization voltage, VDC, we could simulate polarization currents that had a good deal of accord for measurements in accelerated-aged LDPE specimens
