Abstract
Numerous researches on the dielectric relaxation processes in polyimides provide sufficient data to characterize the phenomena of conductivity and charge distribution. Some publications describe the processes making use of a TSDC technique after the prepolarization of samples at higher temperature conditions However, no methodical ways of testing the effect of sample polarization time or methods of cooling the samples down to measurement temperature for the results have been described so far. Another problem is the correlation between the experiment results and the theoretical relations on TSDC. The application of GCA (glow curve analysis) program offers new possibilities and allows one to obtain more precise interpretation of relaxation phenomena
