Abstract
IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) has become the basis of fixed-mobile convergence for telecommunication operators. Compared to previous network architectures, IMS presents huge advantages, especially in terms of ability to offer all types of services (voice and data). Nevertheless, with these advantages comes a whole new package of security threats. In this paper, we investigate the literature on IMS threats classifications. By the end of this survey, we propose a multi-dimensional taxonomy that deepens the understanding of threats´ impacts and locations.
