Abstract
The authors propose the use of bilinear integrators for noise shaping of a system for oversampling, which results in improved low-frequency quantization noise suppression. The resulting signal transfer function is just a delay function. The noise shaping is improved by 6 dB for a first-order system and by 12 dB for a second-order system. If the integrator is used in a switched-capacitor implementation, this improvement will not increase the circuit complexity
