Abstract :
We demonstrate a software-defined flexible-PON using 4-GSa/s DAC/ADC, IM/DD, adaptive bit-loading, and OFDM signal processing. We achieve adaptive data rates ranging between 13.8Gb/s and 5.2Gb/s with power loss budgets between 15dB and 35dB by using only 1.95GHz RF bandwidth.
