Abstract :
The implementation of Smart Grid technology in Brazil, will ensure a new scenario of opportunities for the integration of mini and micro-generation. This matter has been under regulation since April 2012. The characterization of micro and mini generation is related to the installed power and it usually is between 1 and 100 kW and 101 kW and 1000 kW, respectively. In addition to that, the Brazilian telecommunications system presents characteristics that facilitate the use of photovoltaic generation, which creates a synergy between both systems. To integrate these two systems, this paper proposes a study about the conditions for the deployment of distributed micro-generation to supply, by photovoltaic energy, small telecommunications stations in Brazil.
