Abstract :
This paper forecasts market upturn for IC industry. In only 12 months, the IC industry endured the most volatile quarterly swings in its history. While forecasts are not a guarantee, after excluding the emotional "fear of the future" factor, the recent actual data and current forecasts from a number of different sources all point to at least a good and possibly great year for the 2010 IC industry.
