Abstract
Human compares the images acquired from two eyes, to recoginize the distance and the velocity of moving object. In this paper, we measured them using the disparity of two camera images acquired from the stereo vision system similar to the human eye. And the moving velocity, the information of position and direction are evaluated by the two derived methods. And then, The accuracy of the proposed methods is confirmed by comparison with the measured values. To do this, we examined by comparing the velocity graph of the real object with the velocity graph obtained by the proposed methods.
