  • Abstract
In order to explore the open water characteristics of surface piercing propellers, a test stand was designed to perform towing tank experiments. The test apparatus will have automated control of propeller speed and depth of immersion as well as angles of inclination and yaw. The design methods and final design of the system are presented in this paper.
