Abstract :
At present increasing power electronic converters are being applied in improving power quality. This paper adopts and realizes a detection method which can accurately extract harmonic or reactive currents under asymmetric or distorted supply voltage conditions for multi-target trend of power quality equipment. The PSCAD simulation model is built, and the method proved by high power experiment with DSP digital controller. The proposed method extracts harmonic and reactive currents discretionarily through three phase voltage and current vectors project transformation. Good control precision and compensation performance has carried on the simulation and experimentation. Multi-target Converter control system is predigested for using this detection strategy. The method has very strong practicability.
