Abstract :
Presents experimental results for the wideband direction-finding problem using a laboratory sensor array testbed which was constructed at the University of Minnesota. Sensor errors, encountered in actual arrays, require calibration to improve the performance of direction-finding algorithms. Methods of wideband calibration are described. Experimental results are given in order to compare the performances of coherent and incoherent wideband direction-finding algorithms under multipath conditions including coherent signal-subspace methods
