  • Abstract
A new symbolic representation of the derivatives of node voltages with respect to various circuit parameters is described. Using this approach, it is possible to find the values of the third- and higher-order sensitivities with no order limitation, for a microwave circuit having an arbitrary topology. This procedure has been implemented in a program written in MICROSOFT FORTRAN, for a 386 PC. There are two versions, one computing all first- to p-order sensitivities of output-node voltage with respect to all parameters, and the other which computes only a specific p-order sensitivity, with respect to a previously selected set of parameters. An application of a 2-8-GHz FET amplifier that has 14 parameters is described
