Abstract :
The paper presents a HVDC hardware-in-loop training simulator based on digital real-time simulation. The HVDC hardware-in-loop training simulation system is composed by power system real-time simulation module, HMI module, digital & physical transforming interface device and HVDC protection & control system. Using HVDC hardware-in-loop training simulator, this paper takes ±500kV HVDC system of longquan-zhengping as example to simulate HVDC operation and fault transient. The power system real-time simulator and MACH2 protection & control system are connected to realize the HVDC hardware-in-loop training simulation system. The simulation result shows that the HVDC hardware-in-loop training simulator can be used for HVDC convert station operator training.
