Abstract :
A novel strategy, to maintain stability of power system under various credible contingencies, is proposed in order to determine the appropriately rescheduling generation based on trajectory sensitivity analysis (TSA). In this strategy, the trajectory sensitivities of relative rotor angles to the mechanical power are calculated and used to determine the dispatching weight or order of the generators. By this way, some rescheduling schemes are adopted to enhance the transient stability. Moreover, parallel processing technique is applied to speed up computation. Case studies on the IEEE-39 New England power system and a real bulk power system demonstrate the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed method. In particular, the simulation results are compared with the solutions produced by another generation dispatch method, demonstrating obvious effectiveness.
