Abstract :
Implementation techniques for OKI´s prototype passive double star (PDS) system based on time domain multiplexing architecture are presented. The subscriber line frame structure with delay adjustment and the WORD assignment is proposed. As solutions for issues that occur in implementing the frame structure, the differential bit decision circuit, the bit synchronization circuit using multi-phase clocks, the frame synchronization in the line termination (LT) and the high speed automatic power control (APC) circuit are described
