  • Abstract
We developed an opto-fluidic control system combined with an opto-fluidic converter, the fourth stages of a laminar proportional amplifier (LPA) cascade amplifier in order to amplify the output pressure of the opto-fluidic converter, and a pneumatic servo valve which operates the pneumatic rotary actuator. This paper reports these characteristics, and we developed a rotary encoder whose light signal is transmitted by optical fibers so that it may not be affected by electromagnetic noise. These characteristics and performances are shown in this paper.
