Abstract :
Several different active transconductance stages are considered for use in a seventh-order integrated low pass filter with constant group delay. By introducing several simplifications it is shown that the signal to noise ratio of a realized low frequency tunable filter is dependent both on the active transconductance stage chosen and the implemented filter transfer function. Measured results are presented to support this conclusion
