Abstract :
JPOR-32 is a 32-bit processor that can directly execute Java bytecodes and provide effective support for real-time performance. By analyzing the flow of Java instructions in the data path of JPOR-32, we design the controller for various operations. This controller realizes the conversion from standard Java bytecodes to JPOR RISC instructions through micro-code technique. Thus, it would be easy to add instructions needed for specific applications, which makes the processor reconfigurable. Simulation results take the execution of an instruction as an example to show the correctness of this controller during execution.
