Abstract :
A novel method is presented for the direct discrete-time z-domain design and synthesis of follow-the-leader lossless discrete-integrator (LDI) digital allpass networks. The proposed LDI digital allpass networks are minimal both in the number of the constituent digital multipliers and in the number of the constituent digital unit-delays. They belong to the important class of structurally allpass digital networks. Their transfer functions remain allpass independently of the specific choice of their multiplier coefficient values, particularly in the presence of multiplier coefficient quantization error
