Abstract
The effect of moduli ordering in different methods for converting residue numbers to decimal numbers using the mixed radix approach is investigated. The number of operations involved in the conversion process of residue numbers to their decimal equivalent is affected by the moduli arrangement. An arrangement increasing the order of magnitude can result in fewer operations in some mixed radix conversion (MRC) methods
