Abstract :
The ESPRIT algorithm has been shown to be an effective solution to the angle of arrival estimation problem. One possibility for the implementation of ESPRIT is the use of a linear array to provide for the sensor pairs. A technique is discussed for compensation of mutual coupling effects between array elements. Computer simulation demonstrates a significant improvement in performance
