Abstract :
We present the results of a study of the regimes of complete transformation of a plane wave to the diffraction lobe when the wave is incident on a corrugated metal surface or a corrugated boundary of two dielectric media. As basics, we examine the simplest (sinusoidal) corrugation profile in the absence of losses in the material. Then the effect of profiles having differences from sinusoidal is discussed. The sinusoidal profile flute with an insert as sinusoid of smaller amplitude is studied at lack of losses in substance. Research is done with the purpose to reveal the basic regularities of existence of conditions of the complete transformation of waves to the dispersive order depending on the depth of the flute and the height of an insert. The analysis of complete transformation conditions regularities is spending by change of a permittivity over a wide range. The comparative analysis in calculation conditions of different profiles is realized. Primary attention is paid to analysis of the existence of complete transformation regimes in the absence of autocollimation.
