Abstract
In this paper, we design a taxi billing system based on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). The system was programmed by VHDL (Very High Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language), achieving setting module, billing module, display module and connect function. Compare with others, this system is good at small volume, high integration level, high reliability and convenience in maintenance and updating.
