Abstract :
The spectral problem for complex eigen frequencies and eigen oscillations of open cylindrical dielectric resonator with the rounded edges is solved. Using the volume singular integral equations technique we reduced the task to the system of integro-differential 2D-equations relatively to n-th harmonics of azimuth components of eigen oscillations. It is proved that the kernels of corresponding integral operators have a logarithm-kind singularity. The numerical algorithm for the calculation of complex eigen frequencies is elaborated.
