  • Abstract
Without the aid of training sequences, a blind equalization is used as an adaptive equalization in communication systems. A new blind equalization algorithm is derived in this paper. The advantage of using this new algorithm is that it provides the lower residual error. The performance of the proposed algorithm is illustrated for the 16-QAM signal constellation. A voice-band communication channel model is assumed as a transmission medium. The performance of the proposed algorithm is examined by computer simulation
