Abstract :
This paper discusses the employment of averaged circuit-based models for studying the electromagnetic transients of three-phase, grid-connected, photovoltaic (PV) systems. The paper first briefly introduces the structure and controls of a three-phase grid-connected PV system, and then presents the procedures for construction of averaged models for power-electronic core of the PV system. Finally, the features of the averaged models are discussed, and their results are compared with those obtained from the detailed switched model of an example PV system.
