Abstract :
Recently, the number of artificial turf ground is increasing according to holding of variety international game and change of school play ground to artificial turf from clay. Artificial turf ground is needed to meet standard certification to play international game. This standard certification is given by shock performance test during the specified period. The auto measuring system for shock absorbing performance test of turf ground is proposed. This system consisted with auto carriage moving module, auto shock performance testing module, and auto data acquisition and wireless communication module. Experiment is conducted to verify the performance of developed auto measuring system for shock absorbing performance test of turf ground. From the performance test, developed auto measuring system has drop height of 55 mm with resolution of 0.5 mm, measuring acceleration of over 20 g with resolution of plusmn1% for operating range, sampling frequency of over 1 kHz, image resolution of over 12 bit.
