  • Abstract
    A new method for the design of linear phase frequency sampling filters is introduced. Use of the theory of Lagrange multipliers minimizes the mean squared error between the zero phase frequency responses of the designed and desired filters in the stopband subject to the constraints defined in the passband and transition band
