Abstract :
The algorithmic specification of a specialized processor under development, dedicated to spectrometric application, is presented. The processor is intended to perform the correction of spectrometric and/or chromatographic measurements data subject to errors of diversified origins using sophisticated digital-signal-processing algorithms. The set of algorithms to be implemented in the processor is proposed. Its suitability for implementation in an application-specific integrated circuit is demonstrated by functional design of corresponding processor dedicated to spectrometric applications
