Abstract :
Various kinds of disaster occur in Japan, and we have developed information systems to mitigate possible disaster damages. This paper proposes three systems to support three different disaster mitigation activities, among our attempts. First, the local government support system supports local government officials to share trade-off experiences in disasters. Second, the multi-agent evacuation support system provides a distributed agents framework, in which software agents collect disaster information and collaborate to decide evacuation guidance in closed places, such as underground shopping malls. And third, the digital map based training system supports families to discuss and share knowledge of dangerous spots of their houses and the districts
