Abstract
Knowledge-based systems have been widely utilized in the field of industrial applications. However, there are problems for knowledge-based systems in order to be utilized more widely. These problems are support functions of editing and management of a knowledge base, visibility of inference processing and so on. The objective of this study is to develop a knowledge-based system using Unified Modeling Language (UML) in order to solve these problems.
