Abstract :
This paper concerns an application of H/sub /spl infin// compensators which achieve stability for a plant with large changes in characteristics as well as adequate disturbance suppression and reference tracking properties. The simulation result shows how the H/sub /spl infin// compensator designed for the plant with large perturbations (100/spl sim/300%) is somewhat similar to the conventional PI controller.
